Planning to increase headcount by 400% in the next two years, tech company Ivanti was looking to expand in Romania to access the extensive pool of talented developers and engineers in the region.
Having outgrown their existing space, Ivanti were looking to take on an additional floor within Floreasca Business Park, using this 12,000 sq ft expansion as an opportunity to develop the ‘agile neighbourhoods’ concept previously implemented for them by Area.
The approach proposed by Area strongly reflected Ivanti’s focus on employee mental and physical wellbeing. Aiming to provide staff with a range of spaces to choose from depending on their task, flexibility was chosen as a key element across all areas of the project. From spacious breakout spaces to collaborative booth seating options and a variety of meeting room sizes, the space was designed to support productivity and collaboration. Existing partitioning were also repurposed and reused for furniture items, supporting the business’ sustainability aims.
Ivanti’s brand identity was also skilfully weaved into the design. The brands’ main colours red, orange and magenta were utilised across the space to highlight different zones – all beautifully complemented by an eclectic selection of furniture which support the spaces’ adaptability to different configurations.
